Mr. Quakyi, was answering questions in the House, on security measures put in place to allay the fears of women, in the face of serial killings in parts of Accra.
He said he is a man of action, who does not make big promises on security, and pointed out that some of such murders take years to unravel.
"In dealing with serial killers, you are dealing with people who know how to cover their tracks.
"But we have taken adequate measures that will guarantee adequate security to our women, and indeed, all Ghanaians, he said adding, "we are very serious about the murders and God-willing, we shall come to the root of the matter".
The Minister assured the parliamentarians that the national security apparatus will act expeditiously on any volunteered information that threatens national security.
