Accra Bourse index closes flat

 

Accra (Greater Accra) 27 October 2001  - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of the Ghana Stock Exchange, closed flat on Friday to end mixed trading in the week.

 

The Index, which was unchanged on Monday, slipped in mid-week and ended the week at 961.00 points, the same as on Wednesday in dull trading.

 

Generally, the market was sloppy, although traded volumes were up at 42,200 shares compared to 25,500 in mid-week, as institutional investors were once again absent.

 

Market capitalisation stood still at 3,913.82 billion cedis and there was no price change. Below are the closing prices of the listed equities in cedis:
