Return to top Nsoatreman Rural Bank donates region's anniversary
Sunyani (Brong Ahafo), 26th October 99
The Nsoatreman Rural Bank has donated a cheque for one million cedis and 100 T-shirts, estimated at one million cedis to support the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Brong Ahafo Region.
Mr. Yaw Wiredu-Peprah, the Legal Adviser, who made the presentation on behalf of the bank's Board of Directors, said that the bank "feels proud to be associated with the anniversary celebrations".
He said the bank is assisting a number of junior and senior secondary students in the region as its "widow's mite" towards the upliftment of educational standards in the area.
The General Manager of the bank, Mr. Yaw Sarpong, called on people in the region to patronise the six branches of the bank to enable it to make similar contributions in the future.
Receiving the gift, Mr. Donald Adabre, Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, thanked the bank for its gesture and called on other rural banks in the region to contribute towards the success of the anniversary celebration.
