Market indicators of the Accra bourse on Wednesday experienced a downward pressure as a decline in the share price of Unilever Ghana Limited pushed the All-Share Index down by 0.45 points to 762.90 points.
The All-Share Index on Friday inched up, marked time on Monday and slipped at mid-week trading.
Market Capitalisation was 3,243 billion cedis. The change in the year to date stood at negative 12.14 per cent.
Shares traded dropped significantly from 822,160 to 30,600 shares.
British American Tobacco, Ghana (BAT), continued to dominate shares traded, registering 11,600 shares at close of trading followed by Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), 6,300 shares while Camelot Ghana Limited (CMLT), the latest equity on the bourse sold 5,100 shares.
Offers went down by more than half from 1.7 million to 742,890 shares with bids closing mid-week trading at 186,600 shares compared to one million shares demanded on Monday.
Market capitalisation closed slightly down at 3,243.05 billion cedis as against the previous 3,243.75 billion cedis.
In the broader market, there were three price changes - two down and one up.
BAT closed trading richer with a 10-cedi gain at 410 cedis while UNIL and Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) lost 20 cedis and one cedi to close the day at 1,870 cedis and 397 cedis respectively.
