Accra (Greater Accra) 29 November 2001 - The GSE-All share Index, the key gauge of the Ghana Stock Exchange, ended flat for the second straight trading day on Wednesday despite a big leap in volume of shares that changed hands.
The market index ended 958.13 points and there was no price change despite Guinness Ghana Limited selling 443,000 out of the 461,100 shares traded on Wednesday.
This compares with 15,100 shares traded on Monday, a reflection of the poor response to the market during the year. Change for the year is 11.67 per cent.
Market capitalisation also marked time 3,908.25 billion cedis.
