MUSIGA organises peace concert at Oguaa

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) on Friday evening held a peace concert at Cape Coast as part of its public education to ensure peaceful election on December 7.
The event, which was attended by a large number of people, brought together over 20 musicians, cultural groups and dancers.
Alhaji Sidiki Buari, President of MUSIGA, said the Electoral Commission (EC) and National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) alone cannot educate Ghanaians on their civic rights because of limited resources, hence the organisation of the programme.
Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Area, said there is the need to ensure peace in the country because a nation cannot develop without it.
