Teacher, two others jailed 21 years

The Wa Circuit Court on Tuesday sentenced three young men, including a teacher to a total of 21 years' imprisonment for breaking into the Ahamadiyya clinic at Wa and stealing assorted drugs worth several millions of cedis.
They are Philip Yaw Barimah, 32, teacher, Fred Yenli, 21, labourer and Francis Sulley, 19, a refrigerator mechanic.
They were sentenced to seven years each. A fourth person, identified only as Yussif alias "Corporal", escaped arrest.
The accused persons pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful entry, conspiracy to steal and stealing.
