The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index declined on Monday by nearly 10 points to open the week's trading further down at 747.57 points from 757.06 points.
The market index went down by 9.49 points due to a 91-cedi loss by the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), the fourth equity with the highest market capitalisation of 123.59 billion cedis.
The change for the year to date is negative 13.91 per cent.
Demand could not meet offers resulting in the sale of all 33,500 shares in seven equities out of the 22 listed equities.
The total number of shares traded on Friday was 297,300 shares.
Offers closed trading lower at 516,730 from 1.4 million shares while demand was 107,000, down from Friday's close of 348,500 shares.
Market capitalisation also declined from 3,238.39 billion cedis to 3,223.38 billion cedis.
In the broader market, only GCB registered a price change, losing 91 cedis.
