Foso training college holds first arts festival

The Foso Training College (Fosco) on Saturday held its first annual arts and dance festival at Foso, to raise funds to support the music and art departments of the college.
The festival was also aimed at promoting students' awareness on the values of the nation's culture.
The groups, which featured included the Cape Coast School for the Deaf, the Fosco cultural dance troupe and the local Roman Catholic Church Choir.
Mr James Mensah, Principal of the college expressed gratitude to Ms. Nichelli Rivers, a student volunteer tutor from United States who initiated the programme.
He charged the teacher trainees, to endeavour to learn more about the nation's cultural heritage to enable them to impart it to their students.
