Miss Adwoa Pokuaa, 54, a businesswoman, was on Saturday enstooled queenmother of Antoa in the Kwabre District of the Ashanti Region under the stool name of Nana Daadom Boa Pokuaa. She succeeds Nana Akua Afriyie Siakwan, who died last year.

Nana Owusu Agyeman, Chief of Antoa, expressed the hoped that the new queenmother would have love for all and move out to mobilise the women for the development of the town.

He urged the people to rally solidly behind the new queenmother and respect her as they did to their predecessors to ensure peace and unity in the area.

Madam Gyamfuaa Afriyie, Obaapanin of the Nsuase royal family of Antoa, told Nana Pokuaa not to discriminate when confronted with issues but remain fair and firm in all her dealings with the people.
