The Ghana Stock Exchange, which had a breather on Monday with a modest 0.23 points gain, fell flat again in poor trading as bearish sentiments continued to dominate the market.

The index remained at 897.88 points with no price change. The change for the year also remained at 4.65 per cent.

Traded volumes slumped from 2,066,200, to 7,700 with only three out of the 22 listed equities - Pioneer Aluminium factory, SSB bank and Unilever - making sales. There were bids in only six equities.

Market capitalisation also stood still 3,719.73 billion cedis.
