Be innovative in your operations -Klinogo

The Country Senior Partner of Pricewaterhouse Coopers on Thursday charged Ghanaian businessmen to be innovative in managing their operations to remain in competition despite the prevailing dull environment.
Mr John Klinogo noted that macro economic problems would not be wished away overnight, however, he said sustained effort at change would suddenly make Ghana a paradise for business.
He stressed the need to invest in highly competent managers "who will have the requisite training skills, analyse business problems that will lead to better decisions for their businesses."
Mr Klinogo who was speaking at a day's Executive Business Seminar in Accra organised by the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, indicated that though Ghana does not have all the competences, a harder analysis of its own situation would certainly reveal untapped opportunities.
The seminar was under the theme: Effective Problem Analysis, Decision Making and Implementation.
He said it is important to develop effective business management practices at the overall corporate management levels and the entire organisation to enhance problem analysis, decision-making and implementation and indeed successful running of businesses.
