All-Share Index yet to move this year
Accra (Greater Accra) 08 January 2002 - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index is yet to move this year as it again ended flat on Monday in spite of an impressive sale of Aluworks (ALW) shares.
The index, the main gauge of the exchange, ended the same at 955.95 points and change for the year remained at zero per cent.
ALW sold 225,000 shares out of a total of 250,100 that changed hands but there was no change in its share price. Seven other equities also sold shares.
The number of shares traded on Friday stood at 58,200. Market capitalisation also remained at 3,904.03 billion cedis.
