Accra (Greater Accra) 28 February 2002- The GSE All-Share Index continued to maintain its momentum on Wednesday when it appreciated by 2.02 points, thanks to gains by six equities.
The index, the main market indicator, ended up at 969.89 points from 967.87 points.
Change for the year was up at 1.46 per cent from 1.25 per cent on Monday.
Market capitalisation was also higher at 3,931.05 billion cedis from 3,927.12 billion cedis. On the broader market, there were six price changes, all positive.
Accra Brewery gained one cedi at 321, Enterprise Insurance Company gained four cedis t 3,121 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank was up four cedis at 1,585 cedis, Home Finance Company gained five cedis at 950 cedis, Patterson Zochonis gained 49 cedis at 1,100 cedis and SSB Bank was up 20 cedis at 2,221 cedis.
Total Shares traded went up to 272,400 shares from 35,500. The following are the closing prices of the equities in cedis:
