Stock exchange ends flat again
Accra (Greater Accra) 04 December 2001 - The GSE-All share Index ended flat again on Monday after inching up on Friday as the poor run of the bourse continues.
There was no price change and shares traded hit another low of 10,600 from Friday's 8,028,800 shares when HFC sold a huge 8,020,600. Only four of the listed 22 equities - ALW, GCB, GGL and UNIL - sold shares.
The market index ended unchanged at 958.54 points and the change for the year remained 11.72 per cent. The index was flat last Monday and Wednesday and went up by only 0.41 points on Friday.
Market capitalisation was down at 3,909.06 billion cedis from 3,911.95 billion cedis. Below are the closing prices of listed equities in cedis:
