The market index of the Ghana
Stock Exchange (GSE) on Wednesday slumped by a huge 9.28 points in a slow market
that traded only 12,400 out of 728,220 shares offered.
The All-Share Index closed
mid-week trading down at 856.28 points from 865.56 points to bring the change
in the year to date to 16.32 per cent.
Four stocks ended trading in the
negative shedding between 25 cedis to 90 cedis each.
The exchange recorded total bid of
236,700 with market capitalisation finishing at 3,651.82 billion cedis.
In the broader market, there were
four price changes - all declined. Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) dropped 70
cedis to close trading at 1,600 cedis. Guinness Ghana Limited (GGL) lost 90
cedis at 900 cedis.
SSB Bank lost 30 cedis to close at
2,019 cedis with Fan Milk Limited (FML) finishing lower at 875 cedis with a
25-cedi lose. The following are the last prices of listed equities in cedis:
