Work on the construction of a 500 million-cedi cultural village has begun at Asanmankor, near Techiman.
The Techiman Traditional Council is funding the project with support from the French Embassy and Mrs. Mary Warren, wife of the late Professor Mark Warren, a renowned historian.
Nana Asa Akompanin, Kyidomhene of Techiman Traditional Area and Chairman of the project, told newsmen that the project, which is in two phases, includes an artisan village and a museum complex.
He appealed to philanthropists and individuals to assist the traditional council to complete the project on schedule.
