A special training programme to help gospel musicians meet international standards will begin early next year. The training will also make Ghanaian gospel music globally attractive and acceptable, Mr Seth Quarmine, Public Relations Officer of Joyful Way Incorporated, a music company, said on Tuesday.
He said in an interview that the exercise was initiated by the group as part of efforts to develop the talents of young musicians and address problems in the music industry.
Mr Quarmine said currently, most gospel songs have lyrics and instruments mixed up in an unprofessional manner, adding that emphasis would be placed on African rhythm.
