The
government will soon construct the 15- kilometre Breman- Essiam road to link
Assin Manso Mr. H. Q. Jehu Appiah, Deputy Central Regional Minister, announced
at Breman Essiam on Wednesday.
Speaking
at a durbar of the chiefs and people to round off their annual week-long
Akwambo, festival he said the government is determined to improve the standard
of living in the rural areas.
He
commended the chiefs and people of the area for maintaining peace and asked them
to work in harmony to sustain that calm environment.
He
said the present economic hardship facing the country is not the making of the
government and appealed to Ghanaians to exercise restraint while a permanent solution
is found to the problem.
