Goldfields kicked out of FA Cup

A 69th-minute goal scored by Stephen Owusu was all that Ebusua Dwarfs needed to kick Obuasi Goldfields out of the ABC Golden Lager FA Cup in their outstanding one-eighth stage match played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
Owusu, who had earlier wasted other goal scoring opportunities, atoned for his earlier misses when his corner kick deflected off the body of a Goldfields defender into the net.
In the 74th minute, Goldfields' central defender, Mike Ofori was sent off when he deliberately stamped a Dwarfs' player lying on the pitch.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Goldfields attacked in bursts with "dangerman" Momo Wandel spearheading the attack but they could not score.
