sports equipment to schools

Nana Agyeman Adusei, an Engineer
of the Ghana Railway Corporation, Kumasi, on Thursday donated sports equipment
and some food items worth one million cedis to the Ahafo Ano District football
and netball teams at Kunsu.
The items include two silver cups,
sets of jerseys, footballs and bread. Nana Adusei made the presentation during
a one-day soccer and netball competition organised by him at Kunsu.
Nana Adusei said the presentation
was to encourage the teams, help discover more talents and to foster good
relationship among the youth in the area.
Mr. Anthony Kusi, District Chief
Executive (DCE) of Ahafo Ano South who received the items on behalf of the
pupils, expressed gratitude to Nana Adusei and urged other citizens of the area
to emulate the good example.
In the football competition, Wioso
JSS beat Kunsu JSS 1-0 in the final match to lift the trophy at stake while
Asempaneye JSS defeated Dotiem JSS by 9-6 to win the netball.
